Firm Overview
The firm of Richard A. Meier, Attorney at Law concentrates in the area of employment law. This includes litigation of employment discrimination and wrongful discharge lawsuits. I represent clients in administrative hearings and counsel clients in drafting severance agreements. I have litigated at the state and federal level at both the trial and appellate courts. I have negotiated union contracts and represented clients in labor disputes.
I received my bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1975. I received my Master's degree from Michigan State University in 1977. My Master's degree is in Labor and Industrial Relations. I received my law degree in 1984. I worked in the oil industry for five years after receiving my Master's degree. For the past 19 years I have been in private law practice concentrating in the area of employment law.
